ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Amma Gyamfowa, a Ghanaian-Canadian mental health therapist, registered social worker, community researcher, writer, and international speaker, brings a decade of experience in supporting and counseling Black and racialized communities as well as survivors of gender-based violence.

Mission

Our mission is to deliver culturally empowering, gender expansive, trauma-informed
counselling services and community programs that enhance individual and community
mental health.

Vision

Our vision is to empower individuals, families and communities with holistic mental health
supports and tools that speak to the fullness of their identities. Through counselling and
mental health education we nurture individual and collective well-being, promote healing,
and cultural connection.
